At Cartref Homes, we provide assistance to adults with mild intellectual disabilities, autism, and intricate mental health challenges, including emotionally unstable personality disorders.

As an Evening Care Assistant, you will receive comprehensive training to empower our service users to:

  • Participate in community activities by attending appointments and social events.
  • Engage in daily tasks such as grocery shopping or meal preparation, allowing you to understand behavioral motivations and promote positive decision-making.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE FOR AN EVENING CARE ASSISTANT

  • Care Certificate (not mandatory).
  • Previous experience in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and challenging behaviors (preferred).
  • Full UK Driving Licence (desirable but not required).
