Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Care Support Worker to join our team. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our service users with their daily needs, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out assessments in our service users' homes to understand their needs and preferences.
- Supporting individuals with social and physical activities, such as outings, exercise, and hobbies.
- Booking and accompanying service users to appointments, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assisting with personal care, including support with showering, dressing, and using the bathroom.
- Helping service users with eating and drinking, promoting healthy eating habits and hydration.
Requirements
- A caring attitude and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on people's lives.
- The ability to work independently, using your initiative to resolve issues and make decisions.
- Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users and colleagues.
- The ability to understand and follow policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Good writing skills, with the ability to complete documentation accurately and efficiently.
