Position:
Financial Accountant

Location:
Inverurie, Aberdeenshire. Initial in-office work, with the option to work from home two days a week upon approval.
Contract Duration:
6 months with potential for extension.
Work Hours:
37.5 hours per week. Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday: 8:30 AM - 3:45 PM.

Compensation:
£21.54 - £25.64 per hour, depending on experience.

Dexters Recruitment is looking for a versatile Financial Accountant to join our team.

Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with various ERP systems; familiarity with Oracle and JD Edwards is a plus.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • A degree in accounting is advantageous but not mandatory.

Role Responsibilities:


In this role, you will assist the Finance Controller in fulfilling enhanced reporting obligations. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, preparing monthly management accounts, conducting balance sheet reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with SOX reporting standards.

You should possess a keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative in your tasks.
