Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at DATS Recruitment Ltd. This role is essential in providing support to our client, ensuring that all financial reporting requirements are met efficiently.
Compensation:
£25.64 per hour
Work Location:
Inverurie
Contract Duration:
6 months, with a potential for extension
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, with the possibility of remote work two days a week after initial onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive accounting duties
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required
- Proficient in ERP systems is essential
- Strong Excel capabilities are necessary
- An accounting degree is advantageous but not mandatory
Job Duties:
In this role, you will assist the Finance Controller in fulfilling enhanced reporting obligations. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Conducting balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with SOX compliance reporting
We are looking for a meticulous individual who can work independently and is experienced in various ERP systems, with a preference for Oracle and JD Edwards.
