About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Apprenticeship Trainer to join our team at S Knights Recruitment. As an Apprenticeship Trainer, you will play a vital role in guiding apprentices to achieve their full potential and develop the skills they need to succeed in their chosen careers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guiding Apprentices to Success: Work closely with apprentices to identify their strengths and weaknesses, and develop personalized learning plans to help them achieve their goals.
  • Monitoring Progress and Identifying Skills Gaps: Regularly review apprentices' progress, identify areas where they need additional support, and develop strategies to address these gaps.
  • Facilitating Development Opportunities: Collaborate with apprentices to identify opportunities for growth and development, and provide guidance and support to help them take advantage of these opportunities.
  • Setting SMART Targets and Conducting Quarterly Reviews: Work with apprentices to set realistic and achievable targets, and conduct regular reviews to ensure they are on track to meet these targets.
  • Ensuring Implementation of Learner Commitment Statements: Collaborate with apprentices to develop and implement learner commitment statements that align with their goals and objectives.
  • Identifying and Addressing Apprentices at Risk: Regularly review apprentices' progress and identify any who may be at risk of not meeting their targets. Develop strategies to support these apprentices and help them get back on track.
  • Adhering to Company Policies: Ensure that all activities and decisions are in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Undertaking Necessary Training for Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest training and development opportunities to ensure that you are providing the best possible support to apprentices.
  • Fulfilling Other Duties Assigned by the Interim Work-Based Learning Manager: Carry out any other duties assigned by the Interim Work-Based Learning Manager that are consistent with the role and responsibilities of an Apprenticeship Trainer.
Requirements
  • GCSEs at Grade A-C (Grades 4-9) in English and Maths or Equivalent Level 2 Qualifications: Hold GCSEs at grade A-C (grades 4-9) in English and maths or equivalent Level 2 qualifications.
  • Teaching Qualification at Level 3 or Higher: Hold a teaching qualification at Level 3 or higher.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and Access to Own Vehicle: Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
  • Previous Experience in Delivering Engaging Learning Activities and Training Workshops: Have previous experience in delivering engaging learning activities and training workshops.
  • Ability to Deliver High-Quality Training Sessions Meeting Ofsted Standards: Be able to deliver high-quality training sessions that meet Ofsted standards.
  • Proficiency in IT, Including Microsoft Office Programs: Be proficient in IT, including Microsoft Office programs.
  • Willingness to Undergo an Enhanced DBS Check (Children's Barred List): Be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check (children's barred list).
  • Knowledge of Ofsted Regulatory Framework and Quality/Compliance Measures: Have knowledge of the Ofsted regulatory framework and quality/compliance measures.
  • Familiarity with E-Learning Platforms Such as OneFile: Have familiarity with e-learning platforms such as OneFile.
