Account Executive Job Description

Our client, a leading global manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Account Executive to manage key sales accounts with a focus on customers in the UK, Europe, and beyond. This role requires expertise in exporting and relevant documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a portfolio of export customers across the UK, EU, and other regions, delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Accurately record information to ensure MRP systems are up-to-date and orders are processed smoothly through production, guaranteeing timely delivery to customers.
  • Collect market and customer insights to better understand customer needs.
  • Utilize a blend of traditional and digital marketing strategies for effective company communication.
  • Assist with monthly forecast planning, order processing, invoicing, and completion of export documentation.
  • Upsell to existing customers and manage new inquiries to drive sales conversions.
Essential Criteria:
  • Minimum of two years experience in customer account management.
  • Manufacturing industry experience required.
  • Experience in exporting goods outside of Europe.
  • Bachelors degree in a business-related field.
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to present data findings.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Desirable Criteria:
  • Proficiency in a foreign language.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
