Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join our team at Pertemps Tamworth on a temporary ongoing basis.

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be working in conjunction with other sites across the UK to ensure that all customer expectations are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurate Payment Processing: Ensure that all hauliers are accurately paid on time, either through purchase orders or CFX debrief.
  • Customer Liaison: Liaise with both external and internal customers as and when required.
  • Query Resolution: Ensure that all telephone and email queries are answered promptly and resolved.
  • Delivery Booking: Book in deliveries with the customer.
  • Delivery Chase: Chase outstanding deliveries and reasons for their delays, which includes updating service reports.
  • Custom Paperwork: Ensure relevant custom paperwork has been completed for deliveries.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to all health & safety aspects as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous Planning Experience: Previous planning experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to show initiative and be pro-active in resolving problems encountered.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal, motivation and planning skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Good analytical and numerical skills.
