About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Clinical CAMHS Practitioner. As a key member of our Eating Disorder team, you will play a vital role in assessing and treating young people with eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment and intervention to children and young people with eating disorders and mental health problems
  • Consult and support front-line professionals in understanding and supporting children and families
  • Deliver early intervention programs and provide training and advice to professionals
Requirements
  • Relevant professional qualification and registration
  • Eligible to practice under the mental health measure Wales 2010
  • Post-graduate diploma or relevant knowledge, training, and experience in the specialist field
  • Excellent knowledge of mental health problems and disorders
  • Excellent knowledge of family dynamics and issues relating to working with families
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Additional formal qualification in a recognised therapeutic approach
  • Specific, targeted, evidence-based interventions
  • Formal qualification in a relevant field
  • Understanding of service structures and inter-agency working
