About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Clinical CAMHS Practitioner for Eating Disorders. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating young people with eating disorders, providing outreach work and support at times of transition between services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment and intervention for children and young people with eating disorders and mental health problems.
  • Consult and support front-line professionals in understanding and supporting children and young people with eating disorders.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapies and interventions for eating disorders.
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support.
Requirements
  • Relevant professional qualification and registration.
  • Eligible to practice under the Mental Health Measure (Wales) 2010.
  • Postgraduate diploma or relevant knowledge, training, and experience in the specialist field.
  • Excellent knowledge of mental health problems and disorders.
  • Excellent knowledge of family dynamics and issues relating to working with families.
