Position Overview:

We are in search of a skilled and dedicated Editorial Research Assistant to become a vital part of our team at Westminster Forum Projects. This dynamic role involves supporting the organization of conferences that address critical topics in energy, environment, infrastructure, and transportation, aimed at fostering informed discussions among legislators, government officials, regulators, and other stakeholders.

Our upcoming conferences will cover a variety of pressing subjects, including road strategy, transportation in urban areas, high-speed rail initiatives, sustainable aviation, energy efficiency, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough research on relevant issues, emerging trends, potential speakers, and contacts within the policy landscape
  • Ensuring conferences remain current, pertinent, and inclusive, facilitating discussions among all interested parties
  • Drafting conference agendas, invitations for delegates and speakers, and content for our website
  • Coordinating with speakers and Parliamentary chairs
  • Participating in and supporting the seamless execution of seminars and receptions, both online and in various locations across the UK
