Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Editorial Research Assistant to become part of our Editorial team. This dynamic role involves supporting the organization of conferences that address critical topics in energy, environment, infrastructure, and transportation, facilitating informed discussions among legislators, government officials, regulators, and stakeholders. You will collaborate with various departments within our organization, showcasing professionalism, sensitivity, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes efficiently.

Our recent and upcoming conferences cover a wide range of topics, including but not limited to: transportation strategies, urban mobility in London, HS2 developments, active travel initiatives, aviation advancements, sustainable airport practices, zero-emission vehicles, maritime issues, energy efficiency, energy storage solutions, energy security, electricity market reforms, nuclear energy, fusion technology, smart electricity systems, grid enhancements, and gas and electricity matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough research on relevant issues, emerging trends, potential speakers, and contacts within the policy arena
  • Ensuring conferences remain current, pertinent, and inclusive, engaging all interested parties in vital discussions
  • Drafting conference agendas, invitations for delegates and speakers, and content for our website
  • Coordinating with speakers and Parliamentary chairs
  • Participating in and facilitating the seamless execution of our seminars and receptions, both online and in various locations across the UK
