Xclusive Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced and skilled General Manager 3PL to lead our logistics operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for achieving depot service and profit targets, ensuring compliance with company policies, and managing a team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve depot service and profit targets
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, including Health and Safety, and legal and regulatory requirements
- Manage a team of professionals, providing coaching, support, and leadership to drive performance and achieve objectives
- Work with multiple clients in a 3PL operation, partnering with Pallet Networks and Parcel operators to deliver eCommerce and business-to-business orders
- Monitor and control costs, inputting into budgeting and forecasting depot performance
Requirements
- Proven experience as a General Manager 3PL, running a 3PL operation with full service and cost responsibility
- Success in achieving growth and profit targets, with a strong track record of leadership and team management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to work with 100+ customers who have their stock held at our clients' warehouses
- Education to a minimum of 'A' level or equivalent standard
