Credit Control Specialist

Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Credit Control Specialist to join a well-established automotive company based in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead Credit-Related Issues: Serve as the primary point of contact for businesses on all credit-related matters within the organization.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster key stakeholder relationships and promote the credit management function.
- Control and Reporting: Ensure the implementation and maintenance of controls and reports in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Bad Debt Minimization: Minimize the risk of bad debt through effective credit management practices.
- Cash Management: Collaborate with the Financial Shared Service Centre (FSSC) to ensure efficient cash management and maintain clean accounts receivable ledgers.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data, business processes, and customer issues to support the business and FSSC in reconciling accounts.
- Legal Support: Assist and support legal proceedings as necessary.
- O2C Output: Provide timely data and commentary to support the creation of O2C output.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify, suggest, and implement continuous improvement measures for the credit function.
- Internal Customer Support: Respond to internal customer queries and provide local credit administrative support.
- Credit Limit Assessment: Work with Sales teams to assess and calculate appropriate dealer credit limits, liaising with dealers to obtain additional securities when necessary, in line with the company's credit policy.
- Credit Process Improvement: Identify improvements to credit processes and assist in the implementation of such improvements where appropriate.
- Special Projects: Assist with special projects as defined by management.
- Credit Control Experience: Preferably in a company making international sales.
- Remote Credit Process Management: Experience of managing a remote credit process within a FSSC.
- International Payment Methods: Knowledge of international payment methods, securities, and trade credit insurance is beneficial.
- Languages: Proficiency in Swiss German, French, and German languages.
- Systems and Process Knowledge: Familiarity with O2C and SAP fields.
