Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to join our Finance team at HARIBO UK. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in providing financial insights and support to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage factory fixed costs, including energy, depreciation, and labor
  • Manage the operational CAPEX process, including group submission, payback calculations, business cases, pre/post project tracking, and the new warehouse build
  • Support factory improvement projects, including identifying and tracking operational waste
  • Provide daily production and packing reporting
  • Develop and maintain factory KPI reporting, including BDE
  • Contribute to capacity planning and provide financial support for commercial decision-making
  • Develop and maintain a wide range of reporting to support business performance understanding
  • Build partnerships with senior managers and their teams to drive financial support and commercial decision-making
  • Provide pre and post-project calculations to aid business decision-making
  • Support company-wide process changes and improvements
  • Carry out month-end actuals, dynamic forecasting, latest business estimates, and annual budgets
  • Provide variance analysis and bridges to support business performance understanding
  • Assist with year-end audits, maintain involvement with group requests, and complete external reporting where necessary
Requirements

We are looking for a CIMA or ACCA qualified Accountant with experience working in a large and complex organization. Experience in the food manufacturing industry is desirable but not essential. The ideal candidate will be an Excel guru with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. They will be confident in managing a busy and varied desk, maintaining a positive, professional, and confident manner, and be comfortable working independently and within a team.
