Job Title: Distribution Customer Service Coordinator

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 9:00am to 17:30pm (Overtime available)

Salary: Up to £28,000

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Distribution Customer Service Coordinator to join our team at WR Logistics. As a key member of our Distribution team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing customer orders, and ensuring accurate and timely data entry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and input all customer orders and distribution accounts
  • Provide daily operational reports that are accurate and timely
  • Run stock reports to check for product availability
  • Generate all related paperwork and necessary information required for customer work orders
  • Check all orders for special requests and post inventory records
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry for receiving, order allocation, shipping, and inventory management
  • Rate domestic transportation bills
  • Coordinate special, last-minute shipping requests with the Transportation and Operations Departments
  • Trace orders as required and notify customers of activity concerning their order
  • Ensure accurate and timely client and vendors billing
  • Maintain damage records and back order logs
  • Handle returned merchandise in an efficient manner and ensure proper credit is given to the customer
  • Input all receipts, moves, picks, shipments, and cycle counts
  • Communicate effectively with customers as required
  • Provide warehouse staff with necessary documents and information needed to complete receiving and shipping orders
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with customers by responding to all inquiries and complaints concerning work orders, invoices, shipments, inventory counts, etc.
  • Report customer feedback to management, including any signs of customer dissatisfaction
  • Act as a liaison between the warehouse and the customer in administration of accounts
  • Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with vendors (trucking companies, and others)
  • Provide support with other miscellaneous projects, filing, and research
  • Oversee all paperwork associated with orders and maintain the corresponding files

Requirements:

  • Experience in a customer service environment
  • Experience in a transport/distribution/freight setting
  • Right to work in the UK
