We are currently looking for a **Distribution Coordinator **to join our friendly team based at Tarmac Stancombe Office, which is located in Flax Bourton, Bristol. This role is commutable from Westonsuper-Mare, Bristol, Chepstow, Newport, and the surrounding areas

**Role Responsibility**:
Reporting directly to the Customer Service Supervisor the **Distribution Coordinator **will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of Commercial vehicles owned and operated by Tarmac third party haulage base.

Responsibilities for this role of** Distribution Coordinator **will include:

- Engaging with customers to receive and process concrete orders
- Scheduling delivery times in line with customer expectations
- Working alongside the distribution team and the wider area transport team to provide a cost effective, sustainable, safe & customer focused transport operation for the business
- Strategically planning and building relationships with Third Party haulage suppliers.
- Working with the Logistics and Production Managers to provide a medium to long term plan to meet demands

The role is a Monday - Friday role, with occasion Saturday AM’s (Saturday is worked from home)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft IT packages (SAP and CRM systems preferred)
- Proven experience working collaboratively within a team to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner and to a high standard
- Ability to build rapport and positive relationships with customers and colleagues
- Ambition to learn new skills and achieve your own personal goals, as well as business goals
- Commitment to driving and leading improvements to always contribute to a safe working environment
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Desire to work as part of a team and the confidence to challenge processes and behaviours
