About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Project Team Leader to join our team at Leonardo. As a Quality Project Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and manage programme and project risks, threats, and opportunities to reduce their impact on the programme and project.
- Develop and implement Project Assurance Plans (PAPs) to ensure alignment with programme and project objectives.
- Provide leadership to the Assurance Teams to meet programme and IPT objectives.
- Mentor and coach team members to grow quality excellence within the programme.
- Represent the Quality function at a senior level with programme customers.
- Deliver project assurance milestones within the programme, product, and project lifecycle.
- Reduce sector non-conformance costs and implement a root cause and corrective action culture.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Experience in Defence Electronics or a similarly complex industry.
- Knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001 and continuous improvement principles.
- Ability to apply quality tools such as Root Cause Corrective Action, Pattern Fault Lifecycle, Process Mapping, Verification, and First Article Inspection.
- Logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in working with customers and suppliers.
- Demonstrated experience in developing a team, mentoring, and coaching.
