About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Domestic Support Assistant at NHS Lanarkshire. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality domestic services to patients, staff, and visitors across our premises.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective and efficient domestic services, adhering to NHS Lanarkshire and Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI) standards.
- Work alongside and support new staff in the working environment, promoting a positive and inclusive team culture.
- Participate in on-the-job training and induction to achieve full competency across a range of duties.
- Contribute to Health and Safety initiatives, including risk assessments and participation in violence and aggression management training.
- Undertake NHS Lanarkshire compulsory training and adhere to mandatory Health Care Support Workers (HCSW) standards.
- Develop and maintain effective written and verbal communication skills, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Carry out assigned tasks efficiently and effectively in a busy environment, utilizing basic information technology skills.
Requirements
- Knowledge of cleaning standards and related procedures.
- Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic information technology skills.
Contract and Working Pattern
This is a part-time position, with 19.8 hours per week. The working pattern will be confirmed by the hiring manager.
