Job Title: Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Hexagon Care Services. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our 2-bedded SEMH children's home in Mirfield, Kirklees.

About the Role:

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment for our young people. As a Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing individualized care and support to young people, including daily living tasks, emotional support, and therapeutic activities.
  • Working collaboratively with our on-site Hexagon Psychologist to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Participating in a rolling rota, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, to ensure 24/7 care and support.
  • Driving the work vehicle to transport young people to appointments, meetings, and activities.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Previous experience working in a children's home or a similar setting is advantageous, but not essential.
  • A strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support to young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
