About the Role

Restore Technology is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing transactional accounting, overseeing management reporting, and maintaining a robust control environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the management accounting for allocated Restore Technology sites, including constructing and reviewing site P&L statements.
  • Prepare and post month-end journals, including prepayments and accruals.
  • Assist with monthly group reporting deliverables and board pack preparation.
  • Prepare month-end balance sheet reconciliations for allocated accounts.
  • Support the statutory reporting process, including half and full year group reporting, and assist with the preparation of statutory accounts.
  • Aid in financial compliance activities such as VAT returns and stay updated with accounting standards to ensure compliance.
  • Act as the first point of contact with external auditors, supporting the Head of Finance with the audit cycle, preparation, and resolution of any recommendations.
  • Drive a culture of efficiency and high accuracy, while also helping to enhance reporting processes and procedures.
  • Support the Head of Finance in developing and implementing internal audit processes, and be proactive in your own career development.

About You

  • ACA or ACCA qualified accountant.
  • Proven experience in a large corporate environment with a track record of producing timely, high-quality management accounts and driving transaction processing improvements.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience in managing and coaching junior team members.
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential, with experience in Microsoft Business Central preferred.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), excellent organisational abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
  • A team player who promotes a positive company ethos and takes responsibility for achieving goals.
