Job Title: Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team at Receptional. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end finance operations, financial forecasting, management reporting, and strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management and Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts and board reports, present financial figures and findings at monthly Board meetings, and review forecast reports.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Responsibilities: Prepare quarterly VAT returns, ensure compliance with all tax and regulatory requirements, and prepare year-end accounts and reconciliations for external accountants.
  • Budgeting, Forecasting, Monitoring, and Strategic Planning: Set up payroll payments, ensure accuracy, and develop and implement financial strategies to support company growth.
  • Risk Management: Identify financial risks, develop mitigation strategies, and conduct regular risk assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of current risk management strategies.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, preferably in a growing company.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) preferred.
  • Previous experience managing a finance team.
  • Ability to delegate and manage the work of others.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge.
  • Excellent Excel skills, including formulas and modelling.
  • Experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
  • Proficiency in producing management accounts and financial analysis.
  • Good knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero).
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to accommodate urgent requests.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
