About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor to join our Female Rehabilitation Team at Beckett Place, a Stepdown Rehabilitation Unit providing mental health rehabilitation for female patients with complex needs.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with Occupational Therapists to meet patient-oriented goals and support progression through a recovery pathway.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions to patients with serious mental illness.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote recovery and empowerment.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.
Requirements
  • Recent experience of working in the field of healthcare or a related area.
  • Experience of working with patients with severe mental illness.
  • Good understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
