About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor to join our Female Rehabilitation Team at Beckett Place, a Stepdown Rehabilitation Unit providing mental health rehabilitation for female patients with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Occupational Therapists to meet patient-oriented goals and support progression through a recovery pathway.
  • Develop and deliver group and individual clinical interventions that engage clients in therapeutic activity.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to promote high standards of patient care.
Requirements
  • Recent experience of working in the field of healthcare or a related area.
  • Experience of working with individuals with severe mental illness.
  • Good understanding of serious mental illness and rehabilitation interventions.
  • Ability to use a variety of methods to teach occupational skills to clients.
