About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Researcher to join our team at Onclusive. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and maintaining Canadian news, politics, and cultural content on our comprehensive online forward planning calendar.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role that requires a strong understanding of Canadian current affairs and an active interest in Canadian and North American news.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research to identify and add relevant content to our planning websites
  • Verify and edit items on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Take ownership of content in specific subject areas, ensuring consistency and relevance
  • Process and verify incoming information to confirm its accuracy
  • Utilize various sources to gather information and stay up-to-date on industry developments

Desirable Qualities:

  • Fluent French speaker
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian current affairs and an active interest in Canadian and North American news
  • Excellent IT and typing skills, with the ability to effectively utilize the internet and other research tools
  • Strong telephone manner and communication skills
  • High level of literacy with strong grammar and spelling
  • Good organizational skills and time management
  • Proven ability to prioritize large volumes of data effectively and work to strict deadlines
