About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Senior Manager or existing Head of Ecommerce to lead our 20-strong team, reporting to the Digital & Customer Director at the Boohoo Group.

As the leader of the Ecommerce team, you will be responsible for all team strategy, output, and processes. You will work closely with a wide number of internal teams to ensure that we are showcasing our products and messages in an optimal way, across our global storefronts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of ecommerce assistants, copywriters, and visual merchandisers, creating a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Define the onsite search and merchandising strategy, working closely with the Visual Merchandising Team and our Search and Merchandising platform provider.
  • Oversee and feed into onsite personalisation strategy – a key focus for the Boohoo Group.
  • Accountable for developing and implementing A/B testing for merchandising and recommendations across multiple territories.
  • Ensure products, product visibility, and navigation are fully optimised.
  • Feed into the UX testing roadmap to ensure a continued focus on customer journey improvement.
  • Feed into product hierarchy to ensure accurate attribution to drive product findability.
  • Define reporting and analysis to demonstrate value and feed into wider business decisions.
  • Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and key external partners.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Studio, Buying, and Merchandising teams to optimise key trends, promotions, and categories.
  • Ensure weekly new in targets are met.
  • Ensure the accurate delivery of campaign launches and promotions.
  • Provide requirements to the tech team to develop our tools and systems.
