About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Impact Assessment Graduate to join our team in Leeds. As a key member of our Impact Assessment Practice Area (IAPA), you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in delivering environmentally sustainable projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary environmental inputs across various infrastructure development projects to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Working closely with clients and design teams to identify environmental constraints, develop solutions, and deliver benefits.
  • Preparing environmental assessment reports and coordinating post-planning consent support for projects.
What We Offer

As a graduate at AECOM, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from sustainable energy generation to water distribution. Our team is passionate about delivering environmentally beneficial outcomes, and we are looking for someone who shares our commitment.

We offer a comprehensive graduate development program, including on-the-job support, instructor-led training sessions, and access to AECOM University. You will also have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Requirements
  • A relevant first degree and potentially a post-graduate degree in a field such as environmental impact assessment, environmental economics, or environmental science.
  • A good understanding of digital solutions for environmental challenges and the ability to work with clients to deliver our digital transformation agenda.
  • Willingness and ability to travel, with a full driving license or access to reliable transport.
  • Ability to work flexibly under pressure, responding to changing project demands.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
What We Value

We are committed to fostering a culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion, where everyone feels valued and respected. We believe in the importance of work-life balance and offer flexible hybrid working options to support your well-being.

AECOM is a global leader in infrastructure consulting, and we are proud to be a part of a company that is shaping the future of our world. If you are passionate about environmental sustainability and want to make a difference, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
