About the Role

We are seeking a talented Communications Specialist to join our team at SRG. As a Communications Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting internal and external communication activities for Sandoz UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of the external communications strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Plan, draft, and design corporate communication content, including company LinkedIn posts, website content, and other materials.
  • Day-to-day coordination of projects and liaison with business units to deliver communications activities, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion.
  • Work closely with an agency on social media campaigns, focusing on growing the company's LinkedIn presence and developing engaging content.
  • Lead on communication projects with increasing responsibility as your capability develops, including the corporate website and intranet.
  • Support with media outreach, PR, and media monitoring, ensuring the company's message is effectively communicated to key stakeholders.
  • Support the adoption of the company's new branding among UK colleagues, promoting a consistent and cohesive image.
  • Ensure all activities and materials comply with the company's P3 principles, utilizing internal systems to maintain quality and consistency.
  • Be flexible and adaptable, taking on work across the team depending on workload and priorities.
Requirements
  • Be outgoing, confident, and able to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Be curious and driven, with a willingness to receive feedback and take on more responsibility.
  • Have strong writing skills, able to create content in different styles, including business, social media, and informal.
  • Be able to create visually appealing slides and simple graphics, utilizing design software such as Canva.
  • Demonstrate project management skills and attention to detail, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Have experience using social media in a sophisticated way for personal, study, social, or business purposes.
  • Desired but not essential are photography skills and experience with design software.
