Key Responsibilities- Personal Care and Support: Assist with daily life tasks, including personal care, medication, and mealtimes, to promote independence and well-being.
- Escort and Support: Safely escort and support individuals to external events, appointments, and activities, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Person-Centred Approach: Implement our Person-Centred approach, encouraging maximum independence and helping individuals achieve their individual aspirations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals, families, and colleagues.
- Flexibility and Creativity: Work flexibly and creatively to meet the needs of individuals, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Personal Care Experience: Ideally possess personal care experience, although this is not essential.
- Teamwork and Pressure Management: Demonstrate ability to work under pressure and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Flexibility and Availability: Be flexible to work within rostered hours and participate in an on-call rota, as required.
