About the Role

GIC Private Limited is a leading global long-term investor, and we are seeking a highly skilled Transaction Manager to join our Investment Services Private Markets Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing transaction management and deal finance services across various asset classes, including infrastructure, private equity, and real estate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead as the deal execution point of contact with external and internal counterparties, ensuring timely and accurate exchange of documentations and funding for new investments.
  • Partner with investment, operations, tax, and legal teams to execute efficient and timely deal closings, navigating concurrent deal closings and deal volume across multiple asset classes.
  • Provide deal finance advisory and implement deal initiatives, including buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, restructuring, and other transaction finance services.
  • Identify gaps in current workflow and drive operational front-mid-back process improvements and efficiencies, reducing operational risks.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role, preferably with a qualified accountant background and Big 4 training.
  • Knowledge of private sector investing and deal execution experience in the private equity and/or infrastructure industries is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deals simultaneously.
  • Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
