Transaction Management Lead

Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC) is seeking a skilled Transaction Management Lead to join our PIC Capital department.

The successful candidate will lead the Transaction Management team, responsible for creating synergies and efficiencies in processing and expense management across PIC Capital. This role requires effective collaboration with Finance and Operations functions to deliver effective and efficient on-boarding and continued management of assets.

The ideal candidate will have a detailed understanding of alternative assets, including transaction documentation, cashflows, and risks. They will also possess strong organisational skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to persuade and influence both directly and indirectly.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing the Transaction Management team to ensure all private asset types are appropriately resourced.
  • Elevating talent to develop and enhance technical and non-technical skills required to deliver a strong and purposeful Transaction Management team.
  • Developing a regular cadence of communication on Transaction Management activities, risk levels, and incidents.
  • Positively influencing and supporting the effective servicing of the PIC Capital team and wider Investments function.

Requirements:

  • Detailed understanding of alternative assets.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to persuade and influence.
  • Ability to manage people and other resources effectively.

Experience:

  • Recognised qualification and/or strong employment record in transaction management of private asset types.
  • Strong demonstrable experience of leading and developing teams.
  • Proven and successful track record of managing outsourced service providers.
