Position Overview:

Oversee the organization and execution of the service's comprehensive early intervention, prevention, and educational initiatives. Enhance the visibility and accessibility of the service among children, adolescents, families, and stakeholders to boost referrals for specialized assistance. Manage and implement group activities, outreach efforts, training sessions, and other relevant projects associated with the role. Contribute to the development of initiatives that promote visibility, raise awareness, and improve engagement, including the creation of educational programs, informative materials, and preventive pathways. Innovate and apply creative strategies to maximize engagement, particularly among underserved or marginalized populations. Design and deliver group sessions and training programs focused on raising awareness of the service while conveying essential early intervention messages. Take responsibility for proactively generating and increasing referrals from pertinent partners, utilizing data to target specific services and provisions. Adapt to working across various locations as necessary. Ensure effective and consistent involvement of service users, including collaborative production. Assist in coordinating and enhancing the service's social media presence.

Candidate Profile:

Proven experience working with young individuals and an understanding of the challenges they encounter. Familiarity with safeguarding issues concerning children and adolescents, including the Fraser Competence framework. Strong knowledge of substance use issues and experience in a related field. Understanding of evidence-based practices regarding youth substance misuse treatment services and relevant best practice guidelines. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a high level of IT proficiency. Ability to accurately maintain records and meet deadlines for information submission and reporting. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, fostering a collaborative approach to support colleagues in achieving service objectives.
