Engineering Shift Supervisor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Shift Supervisor to oversee the engineering operations at our client's busy distribution centre in Somerset. As a key member of the senior management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, coaching, and developing the engineering team to achieve optimal performance.
  • Conducting performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and development.
  • Managing spare parts and monitoring inventory and usage to minimize downtime.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized engineering qualification, ideally HNC.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role in an engineering environment.

This role offers a competitive salary of £50,320, including shift allowance, as well as a range of benefits, including:

  • 240 hours of holiday per year.
