Position: Hardware Cyber Physical Research Engineer

Location: Cambridge

Compensation: Competitive + Excellent Benefits

Employment Type: Permanent

Awerian specializes in research and development services that enhance the capabilities of the United Kingdom and its Allies in defense, particularly in the realm of Cyber Security. This field is vital for the operational success of businesses and governmental entities, as well as for ensuring the safety of individuals.

Effective cyber security strategies necessitate innovative methodologies that address not only software resilience but also the hardware, technological frameworks, and user interactions involved.

Awerian's profound expertise in the interplay between software, hardware, and related infrastructures allows for the identification of system vulnerabilities that could be exploited to manipulate behavior, extract sensitive information, or introduce harmful software, even when the software itself is secure. Conducting Cyber Vulnerability Assessments and crafting secure devices and protocols ultimately facilitates comprehensive system solutions.

Awerian has a proven track record in developing such solutions in collaboration with leading industry and national defense partners, evaluating critical systems for potential weaknesses, and contributing a unique blend of cyber defense techniques that integrate both software and hardware solutions, often leveraging Awerian's physics-based capabilities to transcend conventional IT-focused approaches to cyber security.
