Position Overview:
As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside top-tier talent, playing a crucial role in our efforts to empower clients in a rapidly evolving financial landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
This managerial position necessitates extensive knowledge in data analytics, statistical methodologies, and insurance business operations to deliver insightful, data-driven recommendations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with insurance clients to comprehend their operational challenges and delivering data-informed solutions.
  • Establishing a data strategy that aligns with business objectives by identifying data potential.
  • Overseeing the execution of AI/ML initiatives in collaboration with business subject matter experts, IT, and data engineering teams.
  • Offering strategic insights derived from data analysis to enhance processes in underwriting, claims management, and risk assessment.
  • Conducting comprehensive data analysis to interpret insurance metrics, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
  • Creating reports, visualizations, and dashboards utilizing tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and effectively communicating findings.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including actuaries and risk managers, to implement data-centric strategies.
  • Establishing data governance frameworks to uphold high data quality standards for clients.
  • Mentoring junior consultants to foster industry-specific knowledge and practical experience in the UK insurance and reinsurance sectors.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in the London Market, UK Insurance, Reinsurance, or a consultancy environment with exposure to insurance clients.
  • A bachelor's degree, with advanced degrees (MA, MSc, MBA) or additional qualifications being advantageous.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and business insight, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable information for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with AI/ML technologies such as AWS, Azure, SQL, Python, and R.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, enabling effective stakeholder management and long-term client relationships.
  • A deep understanding of technology platforms and solutions prevalent in the insurance industry, with a focus on driving technological advancements and business improvements.
