Lead Electrical Systems Engineer

Morson Talent is pleased to present a remarkable opportunity for a proactive and experienced Lead Electrical Systems Engineer to become part of a pioneering and esteemed organization.

The Lead Electrical Systems Engineer will concentrate on delivering expert guidance to the organization regarding the interpretation and application of various legislative and regulatory standards related to electrical systems in a facility specializing in explosive materials.

In this role, you will be responsible for the ongoing enhancement of management frameworks, machinery, and equipment to comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations, while also focusing on the enhancement of system reliability and operational efficiency.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all facets of electrical engineering operations on-site
  • Supervise contractor engagements
  • Define and implement the electrical safety protocols in accordance with the Explosive Regulations 2014
  • Maintain the site's electrical knowledge repository, including schematics and manuals
  • Stay informed about advancements in electrical engineering, particularly regarding legislative and standards updates

A completed engineering apprenticeship with a focus on HNC/HND Electrical Engineering is required.
