Job Title: Pediatric Nurse Specialist

Spire Healthcare Ltd is seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Children and Young Peoples department. This is a permanent full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Specialist to provide high-quality patient care to children and young people. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pediatric nursing, with experience in assessing patient health and well-being, delivering care to meet individual needs, and promoting best practice in health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.
  • Deliver care to meet the individual health and wellbeing needs of children and young people.
  • Provide and receive complex, sensitive, or contentious information.
  • Develop own knowledge and skills, as well as those of others.
  • Promote best practice in health and safety and safeguarding the welfare of children.
  • Assist in maintaining and developing services.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with no restriction on NMC PIN.
  • Experience of working on a children's ward and in an outpatient setting.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a caring approach.
  • Shows initiative and ownership.
  • Shows pride and enthusiasm.
  • Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied pediatric case mixes.
  • Paediatric Resus Training - PILS/EPALS.
