Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our team at Michael Kors. As a key member of our Commercial Finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting the strategic planning and reporting for the EMEA region.

About the Role:

  • Assist in the month-end closure review for field payroll across all channels, analyzing movements to forecast and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business partners to prepare reforecasts for Retail.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and subsequent iterations for field payroll and real estate.
  • Partner with the Retail field team and HR to monitor headcount in stores, ensuring metrics are within company targets and challenging the team when necessary.
  • Work closely with the senior retail team to produce annual bonus targets by store and calculate field bonus (quarterly & annual) and commissions, gaining approval from relevant stakeholders and submission to payroll.
  • Business partner with the retail team to produce robust investment appraisals for the retail fleet, challenging the business to ensure investment appraisal is achieved.
  • Produce month-end packs incorporating all aspects for store performance, including variance analysis and providing value-adding commentary to explain movements.
  • Support the senior Retail head office and field teams on ad hoc analysis to drive business performance and improvement.
  • Provide ad hoc support to US and retail teams as required.

Requirements:

  • 3 years' experience in a relevant role.
  • Newly Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA with strong commercial experience preferably in a Retail related role / Retail / Ecommerce business.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel.
  • Understanding of the fashion retail business to advise on opportunities for further business growth and operational excellence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong business partnering experience.
  • Strong communication skills in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Self-starter able to manage own time, priorities, and drive key projects.
