Job Responsibilities

This role will work collaboratively with the Breast team to develop and deliver services that meet the needs of our patients. You will work closely with key stakeholders, including visiting consultants, medical teams, and specialist palliative care teams.

You will be responsible for implementing and assessing the service against NHS quality measures for breast cancer. You will also work with the Cancer Management Team to ensure that our services are aligned with national standards.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality care. You will have a strong clinical background in breast procedures, oncology, or specialist palliative care, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Person Specification
  • Registered nurse with 5 years post-basic clinical experience.
  • Evidence of professional development relevant to the specialty.
  • Completed specialist study at level 3.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development and training.
  • Mandatory training up to date.
  • A minimum of 3 years professional practice with experience in clinical haematology or oncology.
  • Demonstrated interest in cancer care and knowledge of the specialty.
