Job Summary:

The Senior Application Support Analyst is a critical role within Citigroup Inc. that requires a seasoned professional with in-depth knowledge of application systems and technical expertise. This position involves providing technical and business support to users of Citi Applications, maintaining application systems, and managing the application lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to users of Citi Applications, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  2. Application Maintenance: Maintain application systems that have completed the development stage and are running in the daily operations of the firm, ensuring stability, quality, and functionality.
  3. Release Management: Participate in application releases, from development, testing, and deployment into production, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime.
  4. Quality Assurance: Directly impact the business by ensuring the quality of work provided by self and others, impacting own team and closely related work teams.
  5. Risk Management: Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Experience in an Application Support role, with a proven track record of providing technical support and maintaining application systems.
  2. Technical Skills: Experience with programming languages, issue tracking and reporting tools, problem management tools, and good all-round technical skills.
  3. Education: Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
  4. Technology Skills: Experience with Shell scripts, SQL queries, messaging systems, monitoring tools, and deployment tools.
