The Applications Support Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional role at Citigroup Inc. We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. The successful candidate will be required to possess good analytical skills to filter, prioritize, and validate complex and dynamic material from multiple sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Applications Support Senior Analyst provides technical and business support for users of Citi Applications, ensuring quick resolutions to app issues and driving stability, efficiency, and effectiveness improvements to help the business succeed.
  • Ability to handle incidents and problems at a global enterprise level, remaining calm and analytical when faced with major incidents on critical systems.
  • Focus on process improvement to reduce manual touch activities within the process and identify ways to maximize the potential of the applications used.
  • Ensures essential procedures are followed and helps to define operating standards and processes.
  • Acts as a liaison between users/traders, interfacing internal technology groups and vendors.
  • Active involvement in and ownership of Support Project items, covering Stability, Efficiency, and Effectiveness initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in an Application Support role.
  • Experience in Financial technology & business is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Skill Set: Oracle, Microsoft SQL, UNIX.
  • Experience installing, configuring or supporting business applications.
  • Experience with some programming languages or willingness/ability to learn. Effective written and verbal communications including ability to explain technical issues in simple terms that non-IT staff can understand.
  • Issue tracking and reporting using tools.
  • Knowledge/experience of problem Management Tools is desirable.
  • Hands-on experience in resolving technical issues.

Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
