Key Responsibilities

Trade Support:

  • Provide level 1+ support for Fixed Income, Commodities, and FX Trading systems as the first point of contact for all EMEA-based trading groups.
  • Support Fixed Income Algo Support, including testing, capturing requirements, marketing, and implementing algorithms with PM teams.
  • Assist with automating processes to increase efficiency and streamline trade support as a level 2 support specialist.
  • Manage incident and change management to ensure seamless trading operations.
  • Document and create new knowledge base to provide effective solutions to trading issues.
  • Communicate with various stakeholders, including firm management, brokers, development teams, and risk management.
Trading Platform Onboarding and Management:
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal application owners to ensure trading platforms are correctly installed, configured, and tested.
  • Set up new users, configure accounts, product permissions, and coordinate with risk for trading limits.
  • Provide training to new users on various technology stacks, including trading applications, risk management platforms, and APIs.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience in a Trade Support/Business Analyst role in a major financial institution.
  • Previous experience supporting fixed income and derivatives trading platforms, such as Bloomberg, TT, Tradeweb, BidFX, and WebICE.
  • Exposure to multiple asset classes, including EQ Derivatives, Interest Rates Derivatives, Equities Cash Markets, Fixed Income, and Credit.
  • Good understanding of Unix/Windows environments.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, such as Python or Java, and API concepts, including HTTP protocol and RestAPIs.
  • Intermediate SQL skills.
  • Familiarity with middle and back office systems, risk management tools, and Bloomberg or Reuters market data services.
  • Able to prioritize in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment with a strong sense of urgency and problem management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, accountable, and strong sense of ownership.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong enthusiasm for the trading floor environment and new technologies.
  • Fast learner with a demonstrated aptitude to grasp new concepts quickly.
