About the Role

Advance TRS is seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Engineer to join their team in West Sussex. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in delivering non-infrastructure water capital projects and providing forward-thinking engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop project objectives by reviewing proposals and collaborating with key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate logistics, procurement, and site activities.
  • Prepare detailed project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information, and recommending actions.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
  • Compile engineering specifications to generate supply chain enquiries.
  • Review and create detailed Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Conduct site surveys, including measurements, photos, and assessments of operational processes, access, and egress.
  • Resolve technical and logistical challenges, drawing on the team's expertise.
  • Coordinate project activities with stakeholders to ensure smooth progress.
  • Lead procurement efforts for materials and services.
  • Organise and prioritise tasks to meet project deadlines.
  • Attend client and operational meetings to maintain open communication.
  • Provide regular project progress reports to Senior Management.
  • Manage defects and ensure timely resolution.
  • Oversee day-to-day communication with suppliers and sub-contractors.
  • Evaluate supplier quotations and assess their value.
  • Ensure adherence to project schedules, reporting any discrepancies.
  • Assist in tender preparation, submitting for management review and approval.
  • Visit supplier premises to inspect and approve completed work.
  • Provide support to the management team, supervisors, and team leaders as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with CDM & HSE regulations.
  • Maintain project delivery on time and within budget.
  • Promote a safe, clean working environment by enforcing procedures and regulations.
  • Perform any other duties as required.
About You
  • UK Water project experience.
  • Civil Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Full UK Drivers Licence.
