Civil Project Engineer - Water Industry

Job Role: Civil Project Engineer (Water Industry)

Location: Hassocks

Salary: £50,000 + excellent benefits package

About the role:

We are seeking a skilled Civil Project Engineer to join our team in West Sussex. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering non-infrastructure water capital projects and providing forward-thinking engineering solutions. This role will involve managing various aspects of project execution, ensuring successful project completion and operational readiness.

  1. Develop project objectives by reviewing proposals and collaborating with key stakeholders.
  2. Prepare detailed project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information, and recommending actions.
  3. Compile engineering specifications to generate supply chain enquiries.
  4. Review and create detailed Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
  5. Conduct site surveys, including measurements, photos, and assessments of operational processes, access, and egress.
  6. Coordinate project activities with stakeholders to ensure smooth progress.
  7. Organise and prioritise tasks to meet project deadlines.
  8. Provide regular project progress reports to Senior Management.
  9. Oversee day-to-day communication with suppliers and sub-contractors.
  10. Maintain project delivery on time and within budget.

About you:
  1. UK Water project experience
  2. Civil Engineering degree or equivalent
  3. Full UK Drivers Licence
