About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to join our Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) Directorate at the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA). As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering products and services that meet the needs of our users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day management of the Delivery Team(s), creating an environment that enables the team to deliver at pace in line with GDS and NHSBSA standards.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner and Lead Delivery Manager to guide the team, track progress, and remove blockers.
  • Manage multidisciplinary Delivery team(s) to achieve planned outcomes, empower the team to self-organise effectively, integrate efficiently with other delivery teams, and be accountable for governance within the team.
  • Set a good, sustainable delivery pace, resolve conflict and encourage collaboration, apply good agile delivery practice to plan, track progress and manage blockers and resources, and lead on financial management, scope management and stakeholder management.
Requirements
  • Experience in a Delivery Manager or Scrum Master role in an agile delivery environment.
  • Facilitation of agile ceremonies.
  • Management and tracking of delivery finances.
  • Tracking and reporting team progress.
  • Application of appropriate levels of governance to deliver teams.
  • Risk management and removal of blockers.
