Clinical Speech and Language Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist with a keen interest in Neurology to join our Community team.
The successful candidate will deliver a comprehensive speech and language therapy service to adults experiencing Dysphasia. You will collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team that includes Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Neuropsychologists, Specialist Nursing, and Rehabilitation Assistants.
Our team is committed to providing services tailored to the individual's needs, whether in their home, a day centre, workplace, or clinic. We also facilitate group sessions in a clinical environment.
Compensation:
£31/hour (Day shifts)
Requirements for the Role:
- Extensive specialist knowledge obtained through a degree or equivalent qualifications, with further theoretical training and experience equivalent to a Master’s level in the relevant specialty.
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development through attendance at specialized postgraduate courses to enhance and maintain your expertise.
- Recognized qualification in Speech & Language Therapy or equivalent (Post Graduate Diploma or MSc leading to HCPC registration).
- Valid HCPC Licence to Practice, membership in the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, and relevant CEN membership.
- A minimum of 6 months of paid patient-facing nursing experience in the UK within the last 3 years.
- Current knowledge of clinical best practices.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
