About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Strategy Manager to join our Partnership Office at BDO UK LLP. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of our firm's strategic framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our firm's strategic objectives and priorities.
  • Provide strategic advice and support to our Leadership Team, ensuring effective implementation of our strategic framework.
  • Drive engagement with the strategic framework across the firm, fostering a culture of strategic thinking and collaboration.
  • Produce high-quality collateral to support the strategic framework, including reports, presentations, and other materials.
  • Contribute to the Leadership Team's approach to strategic planning, ensuring alignment with our firm's overall goals and objectives.
  • Monitor progress on strategy execution, working closely with Streams and Operations teams to ensure successful implementation.
  • Track and report on firmwide KPIs and success metrics, providing actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Facilitate Leadership Team sessions on horizon scanning and scenario planning, ensuring a forward-thinking approach to strategic development.
  • Conduct external research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, informing our firm's strategic direction.
  • Support Leadership Team communications and engagement, working collaboratively with our Communications team to ensure effective messaging and stakeholder engagement.
  • Deliver ad hoc strategic projects and support as required, leveraging your expertise to drive business growth and improvement.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in a professional services firm, with a strong understanding of market trends and competitor activity.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic plans, driving business growth and improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Discretion and confidentiality, with a strong appreciation for the sensitive nature of work within the Partnership Office.
  • Curiosity and a desire to learn, with a willingness to experiment and innovate in a dynamic business environment.
  • Experience in facilitation and leadership, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve strategic objectives.
