About the Role

Mackinnon Bruce International is partnering with a leading Pre-Clinical Contract Research Organisation to hire a Territory Sales Manager to cover the North of the UK.

About the Client

A Pre-Clinical CRO, providing early-stage, pre-clinical drug discovery services to Biotech, Pharma and Academic Research Institutes across Europe. Their services include in-vivo & in-vitro research models and services that support drug development & discovery across a range of therapeutic areas including; Immuno-Oncology, Infectious Diseases, Cardio-vascular diseases, metabolic disorders, Inflammation and autoimmune.

About the Role

Due to continued growth in the UK, they are now looking to add to their UK Sales team in the North of the UK. The successful candidate will represent the company's products & services in the North of the UK, and identify new partnership opportunities with Pharma, Biotech, and Academic Research institutes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define & execute commercial strategy for the region.
  • Maintain existing accounts and prospect new customers within Academia, Biotech, and Pharma.
  • Maintain and develop partnerships with national key opinion leaders.
  • Contribute to the development of partnerships and participate in conferences, medical and scientific meetings, congresses & symposiums.
  • Approx 3 days of travel in the field per week.
Requirements
  • Minimum BSc or MSc in Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Biology or a related field.
  • 4 years of experience in sales, selling services or products to the pharmaceutical, or biotech industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the territory.
