Lead Physiotherapist for Paediatric Neurological Services

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Physiotherapist to lead our Paediatric Neurological Services team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for managing a large and complex caseload of children and young people with neurodisabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee the Physiotherapy mainstream service, ensuring high-quality care and effective service delivery.
- Supervise and mentor more junior members of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
- Hold a large and complex caseload of children and young people with neurodisabilities, providing specialist physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and management.
- Participate in the Orthopaedic Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) clinic, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Work as part of a wider MDT, contributing to the development and implementation of care pathways and protocols.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Advanced physiotherapeutic assessment and treatment skills, with a focus on paediatric neurological conditions.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of supervising and mentoring staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and their families.
- Ability to work autonomously, using own initiative to interpret operational policies and procedures.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, with a focus on staying up-to-date with best practice and evidence-based care.
