About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Physiotherapist to lead our Paediatric Neurological Services team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for managing a large and complex caseload of children and young people with neurodisabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and oversee the Physiotherapy mainstream service, ensuring high-quality care and effective service delivery.
  2. Supervise and mentor more junior members of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
  3. Hold a large and complex caseload of children and young people with neurodisabilities, providing specialist physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and management.
  4. Participate in the Orthopaedic Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) clinic, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  5. Work as part of a wider MDT, contributing to the development and implementation of care pathways and protocols.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Advanced physiotherapeutic assessment and treatment skills, with a focus on paediatric neurological conditions.
  2. Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of supervising and mentoring staff.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and their families.
  4. Ability to work autonomously, using own initiative to interpret operational policies and procedures.
  5. Commitment to ongoing professional development, with a focus on staying up-to-date with best practice and evidence-based care.
