Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 5 Children's Physiotherapist to join our team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years post-registration experience and a strong background in paediatrics, neurology, MSK, and rehabilitation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Act as a specialist clinician for the Children's Therapy Service, supporting the clinical leads with developing and embedding best practice into the service.
  • Manage own specialist caseload and records, undertaking a defined range of high-standard professional duties within the Children's Therapy Team.
  • Carry out specialist assessments of babies and children with a range of conditions common to children, developing individualised treatment programmes.
  • Undertake specialist physiotherapeutic interventions to babies and children, underpinned by the best available evidence, and educate and advise parents/carers to actively participate in the management of long-term conditions.
Requirements
  • Substantial post-graduate experience, including recent experience in the NHS.
  • Previous rotations/experience within Paediatrics.
  • Recent experience demonstrating ability to assess, treat, and evaluate care in paediatrics.
  • Experience of developing others.
  • Evidence of MDT working.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Evidence of CPD.
  • Competent in core areas of Physiotherapy practice.
  • Degree in Physiotherapy Studies.
  • HCPC Registered.
  • Studied at Masters level or equivalent.
  • MCSP.
  • Member of Special Interest Group eg APCP.
Other Requirements
  • Car owner/Driver.
