As a Launch Operations Specialist, you will be a proficient communicator, self-motivated, and assured in your capabilities. You will find satisfaction in managing the materials, planning, and logistical components of new model initiatives. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular 'Open to Go' meetings to pinpoint challenges and eliminate obstacles. Your position entails orchestrating the materials, planning, and logistics for a designated range of part numbers and engineering modifications. Confidence in your ability to effectively oversee these tasks without disrupting business operations is essential.

In this capacity, you must possess the skill to communicate with discretion and diplomacy, collaborating with others with precision and efficiency. It is crucial that you take proactive measures during high-pressure situations.

This role is ideally suited for someone who is an excellent communicator, self-driven, and assured in their abilities. As a Launch Operations Specialist, you will also be tasked with reporting metrics that illustrate the progress of launch components into the organization. Efficiently coordinating production parts issues between Material Planners and Purchasing to guarantee the supply of appropriate parts for the correct assembly phase is vital.

As our next Launch Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in monitoring build status and ensuring the availability of the correct components for the assembly program. Your primary focus will be managing the materials, planning, and logistics for new model initiatives concerning a specific range of part numbers and engineering changes. Trust in your ability to manage these responsibilities effectively and without causing disruptions to the business is fundamental.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in managing the materials, planning, and logistics for new model initiatives within the automotive sector.
  • Experience in handling engineering modifications and understanding Bill of Material structures.
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office) and reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate with discretion and diplomacy, collaborating accurately and efficiently with others, while taking proactive actions during stressful periods.
